This song came about quickly, and probably stands as a prime example of the joys of making music with a computer. Much like a few other tunes, Angelo put a chord progression into Jammer Pro and let the program compose the backing parts. Then a lot of time was spent trying out different Soundfonts with Synthfont. Once he had sounds that satisfied him, Angelo laid a guitar part on top. Pretty easy, eh?
For gear hounds, Angelo simply couldn’t get a decent sound out of his Stratocaster, so he went to his backup. A black Peavey Reactor was used for the guitar parts. The Reactor is a Fender Telecaster clone, right down to the electronics. Angelo bought it for the maple fretboard. And that’s pretty much it. No exotic pedals or plug-ins were used in the making of this tune.. A Boss SD-1 provided the extra “kick”.
Once again, the song was mixed with the Kristal Sound Engine. And does the title mean anything? Does Angelo know a cool lady who likes to sing? Maybe he does ... and maybe he doesn’t. For now, his lips are sealed. So are hers ... whoops!
