When the article hit the news wires, the Hero Channel was deluged by e-mails from loyal and alert viewers. All of them pointed out the dubious claims of the heroine’s background. A few were really on the ball as was the case in this message from Sal Pidony, who wrote: “If that photo’s legit, someone’s being scammed. Sinnamon’s been wearing running shoes for months - what’s up with those boots?”
What was up indeed? A few phone calls later, and the hosts of a Toronto radio station confessed to hiring a model to pose as Sinnamon. If these fellows are smart, they’ll stay away from Golden Valley, California, Sinnamon’s regular stomping grounds.
And what did the Silhouette have to say about all this? No one’s been able to find the masked marvel for comment, but perhaps his mask hides a look of disappointment. According to reporters covering the event, “Sinnamon” seemed quite friendly during their shared photo op.
