Stars and their scars

Britney Spears. Lindsey Lohan. Jessica Simpson. Three names guaranteed to draw traffic. And what do they have in common, besides being young, female, and famous? Breast jobs!
Sure, everyone and his salivating dog probably knows Britney and Lindsey have gone the plastic route to augment their assets, but wasn’t Jessica bountiful enough already?
Pictorial evidence indicates she was, but apparently celebrities are obsessed with their looks. And if you want to know the lengths to which celebrities will go, head over to http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/.
This site is about “the good, bad, and ugly of celebrity plastic surgery”, and provides plenty of photographical proof to reveal who’s been under the knife.
The most disturbing aspect is how many formerly beautiful women have had their looks ruined by plastic surgery. For every Sarah Jessica Parker who gets a better looking nose, there’s the scary sight of a not-so-improved Kate Beckingsdale or a puffy-lipped Vivica Fox.
And the site can’t be beat as a source of “confirmed” gossip. Who knew Halle Berry had a nose job?
One warning: the site is NOT kidding when it comes to “ugly”. Gaze upon Farrah Fawcett if you dare!
If your stomach’s still not doing flip flops and you need more proof of how the “beautiful people” aren’t always that much prettier than us, go here and view celebs without makeup. More widespread exposure to images like these would certainly lower expectations on the dating scene.
